The Application StatAppOneTeam for a single team provides the greatest experience and ease in the stats collection process.
Once the teams, the rosters, the player’s details and the game categories (Championship, Cup, and Friendly Games) are created at basketballstat.com platform then by simple synchronizing the tablet with the database with the use of the button “synchronize” all data is automatically available on your tablet. The only thing you need to do is to create the game you are interested in collecting stats and if you wish to collect stats for the opponent team in order to enhance your scouting database, you need to add the roster of the other team and the uniform number for each player. When the game ends you choose the button “Synchronize” and data is automatically uploaded on the database and stats are being automatically updated, accumulated and presented on the website and the existing tables graphs and charts.

No loss in recording game actions and statistics

In our current version of our stats application much care was taken to improve ergonomics and speed up the process of recording stats by assisting the user in his work. The tool enhances a proactive process engine that after each action prepares automatically the application screen to record the next one, hence the user does not forget to record stats. For example after a shot made the tool asks the user to record who made the assist. If there was no assist involved in the specific action then the users chooses the button “continue”. After a missed shot the application asks the user to record who took the rebound and produces a list with the ten athletes that are on the game at that instance. Once the stat collector record a foul on a specific player the application presents a screen with the five opponents so that the user will record the player who made the foul.

Other important features

Time keeping with easy correction tool allows the user to be align with the official time keeping. Time runs automatically when one of the following actions is recorded:
Shot made, shot missed, rebound, steal, block, fault and stops again automatically when recording:
Foul and shots from the foul line. Obviously with an automatic time keeping feature there will always be a small lag in time. The Application enhances a time correction tool that can be used every time the team changes the lineup and during each time out and at the end of every game period. In this way there is not a second missed and the correct time played by each player is recorded thus calculating accurately the Tendex index.
